Spencer Partners offers a tailored ‘research and approach’ service for corporate acquirers of businesses and companies.
What we do is to find a shortlist of businesses (that are usually not currently on the market) to your detailed specification and help you select, negotiate and conclude the optimum acquisition.
Once we have agreed your brief we can (as you wish) handle some or all aspects of the process for you. This includes researching targets, confidential approaches, executing NDAs, obtaining financial and other information, short-listing, chairing meetings with targets, negotiating terms and managing the process through Heads of Terms and due diligence to formal contracts and Completion.
What we don’t do is send out loosely qualified ‘mailers’ in a scatter-gun manner.
Every Spencer Partners assignment is handled personally by our directors, who have more than 30 years experience in business sales and acquisitions including in some cases acquiring and integrating and selling their own successful companies. We follow a rigorous and professional, commercially-focussed methodology.
